Liev Schreiber will star in a Broadway revival of Eric Bogosian's Talk Radio, according to published reports. The show will open in February at the Longacre Theatre, directed by Robert Falls.
Talk Radio centers around a controversial and malicious radio host. It debuted at the Public Theater in 1987 in a production starring Bogosian, who later adapted the play and starred in a 1988 film version directed by Oliver Stone.
No other casting has been announced for Talk Radio, which will be produced by Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel and Jam Theatricals. Bogosian's play subUrbia will also receive a New York revival this season at the Second Stage Theatre, directed by the playwright's longtime collaborator and wife, Jo Bonney.
